We ordered this for the home we are building, so we didn't want to completely unpack it so it stays safe until we can install it. What we unpacked and saw was exquisite. This will be such an amazing showpiece in our home. It was packed carefully, comes with installation instructions, and even a pair of white gloves to keep it protected and clean when handling it. This so far has been above and beyond our expectations.

Welcome to The Light Factory!

The Light Factory started with a weekend project. In 2013, our founder Ashlie had just finished the renovation on her first house. A chandelier was the last touch she needed to complete her living room, but she couldn't find one that was the perfect mix of modern and playful. So she decided to create her dream chandelier! Arranging hand-blown glass bubbles into a shape reminiscent of floating clouds, Ashlie designed the first Glass Bubble Chandelier. She loved it...and so did everyone who saw it. Within a year, she had received so much interest and so many requests, that she decided to move forward with production. The first year, she worked 80 hour weeks learning, designing, and building, while always keeping her focus on quality and customer service.

Since then, The Light Factory has grown from a one-woman show to a small-but-mighty team, and our products have expanded to include a wide array of unique lighting designs and home decor. Our growth has been careful and organic, with an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction and product quality. Our pieces are still made by hand in our Pacific Northwest studio, allowing us to personalize every glass bubble light to meet your specific needs. Ashlie herself still works with clients one-on-one to create the perfect light fixture for their space and taste. We customize the bubble finish, cord option, overall height and canopy for each and every client. When you open the box, you know you'll be getting something one-of-a-kind that's perfectly tailored to you.

One thing that makes The Light Factory special is that we are an entirely female owned and operated company. We're proud of that fact, and thankful for our team of talented, amazing women.

We're also proud of our company mission to give back. The Light Factory donates 10% of all our profits to charities, supporting a variety of organizations both locally and nationally. Returns and exchange details

Returns: I want you to be 100% satisfied with your product. You may return your light for any reason by contacting me at Ashlie [!at] thelightfactory.net within 7 calendar days of product receipt. Product must be returned in new and salable condition, not previously installed, using the original packaging materials within 7 calendar days of notification for refund to be issued. Refunds do not include a 15% restocking fee. Highly customized fixtures and sale items may not be eligible for return. Client is responsible for return shipping fees.

Shipping damage: We package our products are carefully as possible but occasionally damage can occur during shipment. If you receive your product with any damage please contact ashlie [!at] thelightfactory.net within 7 days of receipt for a replacement. You'll need to provide clear photos of the damaged box, packaging and/or product. Please keep the damaged box for inspection by FedEx.

Cancellations: You may cancel an order by contacting me at Ashlie [!at] TheLightFactory.net within 7 days of placement. After this time cancellations will incur a 15% restocking fee. Highly customized fixtures or rush production items are NOT eligible for cancellation.

Payment

Payment is due in full at time of order. International customers are responsible for local duty and taxes upon receipt of the chandelier. Please be sure to check your countries fees and taxes so there won't be any surprises! If you have any questions please email info [!at] thelightfactory.net.

Shipping

Shipments are made via FedEx, or USPS, and require a signature for delivery.

International customers: Please send me your postal code for an accurate quote. If you purchase the chandelier before getting a quote it may be require an additional payment if shipping prices vary. VAT and duty fees are NOT included in the shipping and purchase price and are the buyers responsibility. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Frequently asked questions

Is the chandelier height adjustable?

Bubble Chandeliers: your electrician can trim the chandelier shorter during install but length can't be added. Because of this we recommend taking the time to determine the correct height you need and having us customize it for you. If you need help determining this height please let us know!

Other lighting: Unless noted, chandelier height is not adjustable due to fixed metal stem. If you need help determining the best height to hang your fixture please let us know!

How do I clean my Bubble Chandelier?

Before cleaning please make sure your chandelier is turned off and cool to the touch. Using the provided gloves gently wipe the glass bubbles to remove dust and fingerprints. For a heavier cleaning you may use a solvent free glass cleaner on a paper towel or cloth (never spray directly on bubbles). Take care not to pull on the wire attachment or let the bubbles knock into each other.

What size chandelier should I order?

Selecting the appropriate chandelier size depends on the size of the room and/or the chandelier's relationship to furniture. Chandeliers above dining room tables should have a diameter of 1/2 to 2/3 the width of the table.
To size a chandelier as the focal point of any other space, such as foyers, living rooms, etc, measure the length and width of your room then add those figures together. The sum of those two numbers is the
approximate recommended diameter of your chandelier in inches.

That said, these are not hard and fast rules. Go with your gut and contact info@thelightfactory.net if you need any additional help!

What happens if a glass globe bubble breaks?

If a globe breaks during shipment or the first 30 days after receipt we will gladly replace it free of charge. Please email info@thelightfactory.net and include pictures of the broken glass globe(s). After this period you may purchase a replacement at www.thelightfactory.net.
